The Holy Art meets Anita Alabau

Anita Alabau is a Paris-based multicultural artist, who translates her inner world by means of shape, color, shade, and movement into an objective yet very personal sensory experience.  

Anita works mainly with acrylics and mixed media. She is captivated by the physicality of the act of painting, the intensity of saturated color and the matter itself. Each work takes on a visual life of its own, guided by Anita's intuition and instinct while she paints. The structure finally emerges through the layered relationships of color fields, textures and forms, with a final purpose to provoke or to evoke emotional response of the viewer and a desire for interpretation.
