Some years ago I studied art at the Silvermine Arts Guild in New Canaan Connecticut.

I fell in love with photography:the camera shooting the camera working in the dark room.

I studied the digital photography, camera and I love that also.

A couple of years ago I decided to paint.

I started with watercolor acrylic pastel ink pencil to paper many traditional pieces beach scenes water scenes classic traditional works.

A friend suggested I try digital I was a little reluctant.

I decided to try it..

I do love digital art also

My works tend to be traditional yet have a digital essence, format going on in the background. I will combine traditional and digital often.

- What art do you most identify with?

I love figurative art and abstract art.

I think figurative art for me comes easy as there’s a lot of emotion in my work the facial expression the stance of the figure that sort of thing and I very much like Painting figurative art

I also love the abstract art.

Using bolder colors lines pencil geometric figures Inks

all that sort of thing

I find abstract art is very energetic also fun to do.

- Can you describe one artwork or series from your oeuvre that you feel was pivotal in your career?

I feel my work turned a little different about nine months ago

maybe when I used to bolder colors

my works have a little more ‘edge the energy comes more from me

actually my ‘spirit

at first I was doing softer pastels watercolors and acrylics

but now I work with bolder pallettes ore strokes energy in my works:

contemporary.

- Can you talk about the process of creating your work?

The process of creating my work I think of some thing and then I’ll sketch out a silhouette then I’ll go from there…

I’m never quite know I paint ink pencil design

The artwork is complete

I usually give the work a title from the artwork itself that I h

Feel it emulates:

Usually a place i been something like Paris Barcelona or a feeling

Especially the figurative art once I get going and developing the face and then other aspects of the artwork and design.
