What initially inspired you to become an artist, and how did you develop your unique style?

Art has always been a part of my life, my art is a visual representation of my unique outlook which I didn’t let go. I developed my talent by joning different art courses in Albania and here. I learned a lot about painting and about myself as an artist from the well-known visual painter Lec Shkreli, whose oil compositions represent a wide range of landscapes, still lifes, and portraits of women in traditional attire from around the world.

In terms of subject matter, what themes or motifs do you frequently explore in your work, and what draws you to these topics?

Most of the time, I use my memories and imagination to explore the scenery of locations I've been, sometimes embellishing them based on how I'm feeling at the time.

We'd love to learn more about your Art&Design certificate and the knowledge and experiences you gained during those three years of study. How did the program shape your artistic style and influence the direction of your work?

Immersing myself in a creative environment, allowed me to enhance my creative skills and become comfortable showcasing my work within a competitive atmosphere.

Could you share your inspiration behind these pieces and what message or emotions you hope they evoke when exhibited?

Being a student and living in London, the city lifestyle can become claustrophobic. Therefore, through my travels -, wherever I find glimpses of peace and captivating scenery. I like to paint the essence of the emotions I am feeling, art is a way of my conveying my emotions through my personal creative lens.

Can you tell us more about the message or emotions you aim to convey through your oil paintings, and how you hope your artwork resonates with viewers?

My work is a direct communication of nature’s language. Feelings of serenity and pockets of peace are what I try and illustrate within the layers of my paintings.

How do you stay connected with other artists and keep up with new developments and trends in the art world?

Social media is a great way to be part of a creative network and become a member of the wider creative societies. Through various platforms, and even my general university life as an architecture student I am constantly part of creative discussions.

How do you incorporate feedback from critics and audiences into your artistic practice, and how do you balance this feedback with your own artistic intuition?

Art is a very subjective topic and that’s an important mindset to have. Feedback when given in an appropriate manner can be viewed as constructive criticism. Although, art is a very personal creation majority of the time, feedback can be insightful and open doors to developing you work further.

How do you stay motivated and inspired despite any setbacks or creative blocks you may encounter?

Through my travels, I get motivated and inspired. Travelling and the adrenaline of creation is a fulfilling feeling.

How do you feel about exhibiting your artworks with The Holy Art Gallery?

It’s a new experience and an opportunity I feel enthusiastic about. Art needs to be exhibited and shared with the world.

Looking ahead, what are your long-term goals and aspirations as an artist, and how do you plan to achieve them?

Enhance my personal creative platform and develop the quality of what I am producing. Generating a portfolio which showcases my skills.
