What initially inspired you to become an artist, and how did you develop your unique style?

My background is corporate business, but I found very rewarding creating art objects that fills people’s everyday life, transforming their mood, their surroundings, inspiring and making them more comfortable and happy. Developing a unique style is a gradual process that is endless. It involves experimentation, practice, self and material discovery. I often start by learning more about my idea and than layering, layering, often imitating the techniques and styles of other artists that I admire.

In terms of subject matter, what themes or motifs do you frequently explore in your work, and what draws you to these topics?

In my artistic journey, I find inspiration from various aspects of my life, drawing from my experiences as a business person, a mother, and a woman in today's world. I strive to reflect these diverse perspectives in my artworks, creating pieces that resonate with people on a personal level and evoke emotions. One of the subjects I explore in my art is food, which serves as a powerful symbol of our culture. Through my works, I metaphorically use food to represent significant life-changing events or various societal issues.

For instance, in my painting titled 'The Pizza Effect,' which will be exhibited at The Holy Art Gallery, I depict the development of cryptocurrency and pizza itself, and how ideas finally become reality. This artwork not only pleases the eyes but also invites viewers to delve deeper into the underlying concepts. While interpretations may vary depending on the viewers, my intention is always a positive perspective. Another subject that holds great significance for me is harmony and balance. Having lived a fast-paced life as a business person, I understand the stress and pressure that comes with striving for constant achievement. In response, I create abstract paintings that exude a sense of calmness and tranquility. My intention is to provide a source of peace and serenity for viewers when they stand in front of my artworks. Through the use of colors, textures, and composition, I aim to create a visual experience that allows individuals to find solace and find a moment of respite from their hectic lives. Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to create art that not only captivates the eye but also resonates with the viewer on a deeper level. By incorporating subjects that reflect my personal experiences and addressing themes of culture, change, and balance, I hope to inspire contemplation, spark conversations, and bring a sense of joy and tranquility to those who engage with my artworks.

Your statement mentions that your artworks bring positive, energetic, and harmonious forces to balance the world we live in. Can you elaborate on how you translate these elements into your artwork? How do you aim to create a sense of balance and harmony through your paintings?

Let’s take the artwork 'Pizza Effect' as an example. It can evoke different interpretations and perspectives from viewers. While some may regard pizza as unhealthy fast food, it is important to look beyond the surface and consider its broader implications. Pizza, as a symbol in the artwork, represents more than just a quick and convenient meal. It serves as a metaphor for the adaptability, evolution, success and usefulness. Pizza like AI has the ability to learn, develop, and adapt itself naturally over time transcending boundaries of countries, cultures and trends. The artwork invites viewers to broaden their perspective and see beyond the initial assumptions. It encourages to consider the positive aspects and benefits.

The concept of the 'Pizza Effect' challenges the notion of labeling something as solely unhealthy or negative, urging viewers to find a balance and appreciate the multifaceted nature of things. Through this artwork, I aim to spark a dialogue and encourage viewers to explore different viewpoints, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the complexities of the world around us. It is a call to see beyond the surface and embrace a broader view that brings balance and allows for a more nuanced understanding of the subjects we encounter.

Can you discuss a specific piece or project that challenged you as an artist, and how you overcome those challenges?

Currently, I am also working on a few sculptures that require a smooth resin finish. However, I have encountered a challenge with this particular project as I started it while living in Spain, where the high humidity has resulted in an uneven surface for the resin finish. This technical issue has proven to be quite a challenge, and despite my efforts, I have been unable to overcome it on my own. Therefore, I am actively seeking the assistance of professionals who specialise in resin finishes to help me resolve this issue.

How do you stay connected with other artists and keep up with new developments and trends in the art world?

I follow my stars on Instagram and visit major art events.

How do you incorporate feedback from critics and audiences into your artistic practice, and how do you balance this feedback with your own artistic intuition?

I mostly trust my artistic and all my other intuitions:) I believe that I know better what my audience needs. I listen to different opinions to understand issues, problems, trends and other necessities of the society. When I work, I put all my knowledge and my heart. It allows me to infuse my art with both technical expertise and emotional depth. My knowledge encompasses understanding of artistic techniques, materials, and concepts, while heart represents my passion, emotions, and personal experiences. By merging these elements, I create art that is not only visually captivating but also carries a profound message and evokes emotional response.

How do you stay motivated and inspired despite any setbacks or creative blocks you may encounter?

I have never experienced a lack of inspiration. I am constantly learning new things in various art areas and from professionals in business, sports, science. I strive to live a balanced and well-rounded life, which fuels my creativity. Energetic personalities inspire me greatly. When you shift your perspective from seeing people as mere humans to perceiving them as energy, it completely changes your outlook. Inspiration comes from a wide range of sources. When it comes to setbacks in my work, there is no magic solution. I approach them with research, experimentation, and hard work. I diligently seek ways to connect different elements and find solutions. It is a process that requires dedication, much like any other work. Overall, my continuous learning and openness to diverse areas contribute to my creative journey. I embrace setbacks as part of the creative process and persistently work towards finding innovative approaches to my art.

How do you feel about exhibiting your artworks with The Holy Art Gallery?

Being selected for an exhibition at The Holy Art Gallery fills me with an overwhelming sense of pride and accomplishment.

Looking ahead, what are your long-term goals and aspirations as an artist, and how do you plan to achieve them?

My priority is working on my unique artistic voice. It is through continuous learning, exploration, experimentation, new experiences and new materials. Art world is so wide and has so many opportunities. Of course, building a strong portfolio and presence is my other two important long term goals.
