I take every Single Opportunity That Life Is Presenting To Me And Which Could Be Seen As Setbacks By Other People... For Me It's An Opportunity To Grow!

When he was young, a major car accident shifted his life into a completely different dimension from what he had planned. It was then that he began his training "at the Academy of Fine Arts of the Universe." During a long path of rehabilitation, Marc’s therapist understood very quickly that the patient he had in front of him was not a “standard” patient, and thus, this professional has been able to go outside of all his classic rehabilitation techniques with his patient. Together they completed a magnificent therapeutic path, which allowed Marc Noël to, first, gain the ability to hold a pencil again between his fingers, through which the first achievements were the drawing of completely closed circles.

Through his motivation, determination, and self-teaching, Marc Noël progressed through drawing, pastels, Japanese calligraphy, and painting, eventually recovering full control over his hands. Always looking to push boundaries, he realized that traditional artistic expression felt limited. This led to a mystical opportunity where his painting became guided by another dimension, giving birth to his quantum paintings.

The paintings he creates today are not just paintings but are very powerful evolving tools which, through time and the observer who stands in front of them, will create an opportunity for an “out of the norm” encounter between the quantum painting and the observer. These are now quantum paintings that change every day for the observer, even though the painting is not modified physically, because the quantum painting adapts itself in what it shows according to the evolution of the observer. He also teaches quantum painting to people, whether they have had or have not had academic training in painting, to make them live and experience “the painting” from a completely different point of view, or to dare enter into the feeling of the creation of the painting, and even become their painting.

All the people who already have had the chance to acquire one of his quantum paintings have all experienced an evolution, from when they first saw their canvas, and day after day, as well as a change in their quantum painting and in the feeling that they had with their quantum painting. Today Marc Noël also presents his paintings to the whole world on other media platforms, such as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), videos, etc., so that everyone who wants it can benefit from these very powerful tools.

What initially inspired you to become an artist, and how did you develop your unique style?

Let’s start this answer in a very powerful and profound way! KARMA!!!  Since early on, I have been a man of science. Then one day, when I was 26, Karma presented me with a 7-year rehabilitation period after a severe car accident… The man I was… was no more… I saw a lot of specialists and very competent medical practitioners… but nobody was prepared to go OUT OF THE BOX and listen to what I wanted regarding my recovery process… Then, one day, I met an exceptional therapist who accompanied me on this 7-year rehabilitation journey to recover my fine motor skills. This recovery happened through drawing very elementary forms (i.e., a round circle) with a pencil… Yes, for you, a circle is always round… but for me, during that rehabilitation, I drew thousands of circles that were never round! From there, I went on to draw all kinds of forms. I also started to use pastels to add some very deep color to my drawings. One day, I felt the need to play with acrylic paint. For me, it was « a powerful tool » to perfect my fine motor skills, and, at the same time, develop this fluidity and freedom of expression! During that time, I also developed skills in Shodo, a Japanese calligraphic art, and I brought that into my paintings. Today, this has become my very unique and personal style because every single one of my paintings is who I am in this « free expression of myself ».

Do you have any rituals or routines that help you get into a creative mindset when starting a new project?

Yes, of course I do! It’s the same ritual every single day… Every morning, I wake up and when I open my eyes, I say: « THANK YOU, UNIVERSE THAT I AM ALIVE TODAY AND THAT YOU GIVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO ENJOY EVERY SINGLE MINUTE OF THE DAY! », and then, I commit myself to live in this « presence » every single second of the day. At night, before I lay my head on my pillow, I thank the Universe for this beautiful day, and the opportunities that were presented to me, and I ask myself if I have given 100% of who I am in what my missions of the day were. And my response is always: « YES ».

Can you elaborate on how you got the influence for your quantum painting?

Yes, I can! Early on, when I was developing my art, I observed that many art forms needed to adhere to a very strict way of practicing art. They had to conform to this strict framework to be recognized by critics, social expectations, and norms… My healing process after this car accident has brought me so many extremely deep questions about life that I felt the need to « explore » outside the box, beyond the stratosphere, beyond the… so, I witnessed that the more I « adhered » to go into that « outer space state » while I was painting, the more I was living my paintings. I started to enjoy it so much that, today, it is very easy for me to connect immediately to… « THAT ». From a scientific point of view, quantum physics always reacts relative to « the observer ». All my paintings are presented to the observer, and it is he/she who will live the experience that he/she allows him/herself.

Are there any specific themes or messages you aim to convey through your art?

Yes, I do! The theme that I am presenting in every single one of my paintings is: « LIVELINESS AND JOY ». My aim is that through my paintings, I can offer the observer a physical and tangible tool so that he/she allows him/herself access to a whole new world… where mankind has never gone before… hahaha

How do you stay motivated and inspired despite any setbacks or creative blocks you may encounter?

I really love all these questions in your interview! I can give you a very simple answer to that. I am always motivated in everything that I do; I am always inspired in everything that I do; and I never ever have setbacks or creative blocks … BECAUSE… I TAKE EVERY SINGLE OPPORTUNITY THAT LIFE IS PRESENTING TO ME AND WHICH COULD BE SEEN AS SETBACKS BY OTHER PEOPLE… AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GROW! And so, I always become wiser, stronger, and even more motivated and inspired in life.

Can you discuss a specific piece of your art and the story or message behind it?

That is a tricky question because every single one of my paintings has such a powerful and clear story related to my life. But since you asked, one specific painting that I would like to mention is the painting called « ZEUS ». Zeus was my last dog. He was with me for 14 years. He was a beautiful big black Flanders Cattle dog, who weighed 65 kg (143 pounds). I had « a very special contact » with Zeus every single day for 14 years. Whoever had the pleasure and the opportunity to meet Zeus shared with me that Zeus was exactly like me… I was very proud and honored that they compared me to this beautiful and powerful dog. One day, Zeus decided to prepare for his transition from this world to « that other world » in a very peaceful way. I had the honor and the privilege to hold Zeus in my lap until his very last breath. I was so thankful to the Universe and to Zeus for having lived this 14-year experience together and I felt the need to make Zeus « immortal » through one of my quantum paintings. What was very intriguing is that during one of my exhibitions, more or less 2 years ago, I gave my quantum painting “Zeus” to one of the visitors for free… because she connected so much with this quantum painting that I could not sell it to her. I felt I had to give it to her as a gift from the bottom of my heart, and through that, let go of the physical connection I had with Zeus…

How do you feel about exhibiting your artworks with The Holy Art Gallery?

Guys, I Love you! As I said, I am a man of science, and I am also a businessman, which means that I am very skilled at evaluating « the worth and the strength of somebody or a company ». When I was traveling and looking for people, and now it comes…, « who would be allowed to present my artwork to the world », I felt very deeply that I wanted to work with you because I am sure that I, your company, and a lot of people in this world will be enriched by our art « encounter » and, of course, you chose the perfect name: The Holy Art Gallery… Jesus… Who would not like to work with you?.........hahaha

How do you incorporate feedback from critics and audiences into your artistic practice, and how do you balance this feedback with your own artistic intuition?

This kind of question always makes me smile… Every single time somebody looks at one of my creations, I say: I can hear you… I can hear you… I can still hear you! I am aware that every single person has a point of view on things. And when I say, « I can hear you », I say to that person that I can hear his/her vision, and that « I can hear him/her » with unconditional love and respect for free will… But it never influences my work in any way! I will give you an example, a very funny one… One day, there was a very skilled academically trained artistic painter who said: « This is not really one of your best works! » and I said, « I can hear you »… Today, after having « lived » several of my creations, this artist has shared with me that one day he would like to be able to paint like me and become the being that I am… And I replied, « I can still hear you »…

Looking ahead, what are your long-term goals and aspirations as an artist, and how do you plan to achieve them?

Another beautiful question! I will use this question to share with you my ultimate goal regarding my painting art. I want my artwork and my paintings to be visible and known all over the world. I have created a world map onto which I have planted flags where my paintings have been, are, or will be exhibited. My paintings are much much more than paintings. It is my very deep heart/art wish that through my paintings as many people as possible will have the opportunity to…

What role does emotion play in your creative process, and how do you aim to evoke specific feelings or reactions from those who view your artworks? Through all my experiences in life, I have learned that emotions can be lived in completely different ways:

- Very destructive

- Very constructive

Since very early on in my life, I have noticed that there is no « added value » in living emotions « in a destructive way ». So, I experience all my emotions in depth in a « constructive » way, and I have noticed that in this way… THERE IS ALWAYS AN ADDED VALUE AND I HAVE GROWN IMMENSELY FROM IT. When I have the pleasure and the opportunity to see someone in front of one of my paintings and when I observe a communication between the observer and the painting… that’s when I see an opportunity to go to that person, and, if it is his/her wish, I share in depth what this painting is all about. The funny thing is that when I start explaining one of my paintings to one person, within a few minutes, a lot of people gather around to listen to what I am sharing with him/her… IT IS ALWAYS BEAUTIFUL TO SEE THE LIGHT IN THE EYES APPEARING IN EVERY OBSERVER!
