Merisi is a private artist blending classical training with self-taught technique. Inspired by masters like Caravaggio and Van Eyck, Merisi's art features chiaroscuro, detailed underdrawings, and layered glazes.

Focused on classical realism, Merisi captures human beauty and emotion, often painting by candlelight for a deep, immersive experience. Despite mental health struggles, Merisi brings old master styles into a contemporary context, allowing subjects to contribute to the artwork.

With over 20 years of experience and studies in Florence, Merisi’s work reflects a deep understanding of traditional techniques. With three exhibitions planned for 2025, Merisi continues to push classical boundaries, creating works that honor timeless traditions.
