Diego Luister Berel x The Holy Art article by Harper’s Bazaar Indonesia

We could not be more excited for this feature article about the uber talented artist Diego Luister Berel winning our “Artfusion” exhibition!

DIEGO LUISTER BEREL has a developmental disorder (Down Syndrome), he has taken part in several painting exhibitions in Jakarta and other cities, and one of his paintings was auctioned by Sotheby’s Jakarta at the ‘Indonesia Peduli Anak’ or Indonesia’s Cares for Children’ charity event, held by the Ministry of Trade, and the proceeds went to several elementary schools in Kupang city, NTT.

Harper’s Bazaar needs of course no introduction!

Please see the below quotes from the original article that can be found here.

“In addition to his achievements at The Holy Art Gallery, previously Diego's work, entitled Under the Sea , was auctioned by Sotheby's Jakarta and curated by Christie's at the charity event Peduli Anak Indonesia organized by the Ministry of Trade in 2016. The proceeds from the auction were distributed to help several elementary schools in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. Several other paintings have also made it to Malaysia, Singapore, England, the Netherlands, the United States, and other cities in Indonesia.”
