The Holy Art meets Emily Victoria

Emily is a British artist living in Barcelona, Spain. Whilst originally from Hampshire in the UK, she spent a lot of time in France and Spain growing up, and has spent the last few years living in Sydney and Barcelona, drawn to the natural beauty, outdoor culture and relaxed pace of life by the sea - the main inspiration behind her paintings. She works with a range of mediums including watercolour, acrylic and oil, combining distinctive perspectives to create contemporary compositions. She is interested in using colour to create striking contrast in her paintings, creating interest and an alluring vibrancy. Above all, she seeks to capture the meditative quality of the water and communicate the sense of escapism that it provides.
