Eleni or El K is currently based in Berlin but constant moving and transition have been core life drivers to date. Her sense of aesthetics, imaginary and space have been in an open discourse with the concept of domesticity, synchronicity, familiarity and alienation.

This process has not left her cultural identity inert. Instead, it has sublimated the questions around space, identity and connection into paintings where -bespeaking of both conscious and unconscious- she imagines how feelings, collision or symbiosis of realities and traumas, may look and feel like.

Intuition, as often trespassed or overlooked, here blends with surreal yet evocative shapes with vibrant colours and textures visualising them organically and emotionally. The selection of different textures across different parts of the paintings goes beyond an aesthetic effect. It is an invitation to conceptualise what could be the sensation of our inner parts in a more intuition- inspired experience of living.
