Brogan Burke

Brogan Burke is a British interdisciplinary artist and a graduate of Wrexham University, holding both an MA in Art Interdisciplinary Practice and a BA in Fine Art. Brogan challenges viewers to consider how architecture and the use of space can evoke emotional responses, ultimately questioning the role of design in our experiences of loss. Reflecting on her own grieving experiences, She uses found materials to create site-specific sculptures that are intimately linked to the memories of her family that she has lost. This process embodies the interplay between architecture and grief, illustrating how both are subject to cycles of creation, destruction, and renewal.
