Roman Honcharenko Solo Show

"Strokes of Twisted Reality"

Roman Honcharenko, also known as Roman/Roma Goncharenko, is a Ukrainian digital artist based in London, specializing in abstract surrealism. His distinctive style is characterized by fluid, organic shapes and a dreamlike atmosphere, often achieved through the use of vibrant, contrasting colors that create a sense of depth and otherworldliness. Swirling patterns and intricate textures dominate his compositions, giving them a dynamic and ethereal quality. The imagery in Honcharenko's work evokes a sense of mystery and fantasy, blending elements of nature with imaginative, almost fantastical twists.

Drawing heavily from the psychedelic art movement and the visual aesthetics of 1970s sci-fi and fantasy literature, Honcharenko's art bears a striking resemblance to the covers of Robert A. Heinlein’s novels, featuring galactic storms, electrical impulses, alien tentacles, and strange monsters. This nostalgic influence is seamlessly balanced with contemporary digital execution, resulting in a unique fusion of past and present. His work not only captures the viewer’s attention but also invites them into a surreal, imaginative world, making his pieces both visually striking and emotionally evocative.
